The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, you will lead a dedicated team of Actuarial Analysts within the Non-Life Corporate Actuarial division. You will play a pivotal strategic role in driving high-quality actuarial solutions, managing regulatory capital, overseeing robust reserving processes, and delivering key insights to executive leadership and board committees.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Capital & SAM: Manage and oversee solo and group Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM) calculations and reporting in full compliance with regulatory standards.

• Reserving & IFRS 17: Oversee end-to-end reserving processes (methodology, assumption setting, reserve adequacy) and drive ongoing IFRS 17 reporting.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with the Head of Actuarial Function (HAF) and external auditors on SAM, Reserving, and IFRS 17 reviews.

• Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of actuarial analysts to foster technical excellence and accountability.

• Enterprise Risk Management: Support the Risk team in refining ERM frameworks, including ORSA, Risk Appetite, and Stress & Scenario testing.

• Strategic Insights: Present key actuarial insights, risk metrics, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and Board committees.

• Continuous Improvement: Enhance operational efficiency, modeling capabilities, and automation across the actuarial function.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science (Required).

• Total Experience: 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience (Essential).

• Industry Focus: 3+ years of experience in a Short-Term / Non-Life Insurance environment (Essential).

• Technical Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience across Reserving, SAM, and IFRS 17 reporting (Essential).

• Management Experience: 1+ years of experience managing resources and leading projects/teams to deliver strategic objectives (Essential).

• Software: Experience with ResQ software is highly advantageous.
