A well-established, large Multi-Franchise Dealership group is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly disciplined Polokwane Dealer Principal to lead their dealership.

Taking full accountability for the branch's strategic vision, financial metrics, and operational workflows, you will report directly to senior management and the board of directors to maximize regional market penetration and CSI scores.

What’s on Offer?

• Salary: R60,000.00 Gross PM + Commission (10% of total dealership net profit)

• Status: Full-Time, Permanent following a successful 3-month probation period

• Benefits: 50% Medical Aid contribution (capped at R9,260.50) + Compulsory Gap Cover (R199.00 PM)

• Retirement: 8% Pension Fund contribution (applicable post-probation)

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Financial Leadership: Formulate aggressive plans to exceed volume, profit, and market share targets. Manage budgets, strict expense control, cash flow, asset optimization, and analyse KPIs to execute corrective actions swiftly.

• Operational Oversight: Optimize efficiency across all business units—including New & Used Vehicle Sales, Workshop/After-Sales, Parts, and Administration.

• People Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of departmental managers and workshop staff while driving a high-performing culture.

• OEM & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain robust relationships with represented Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and ensure 100% compliance with franchise standards.

• Customer Excellence: Cultivate a customer-centric environment to maximize client retention and maximize CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Essential Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Manager (GM) or Dealer Principal (DP) specifically within a franchised dealership context.

• Proven Benchmarks: Verifiable experience managing an operational scale of an average 1,800 hours workshop throughput and 30 sales units per month.

• Industry Track Record: 5+ years of senior management experience in the automotive retail sector with strong financial acumen and an intimate understanding of dealership P&L statements.

• Licensing & Education: Valid and unendorsed South African driver's license. A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree in a Business or Commercial field) is highly preferred.

• Track Record: Must be able to supply contactable references from previous employers (Seniors or Board Members you directly reported to) for verification.
