Job description

Join a leading manufacturing business in a succession-planning role designed for a recently qualified CA(SA). Gain mentorship leadership exposure and a clear pathway into a senior finance management position.




Job Description:

  • Support and progressively assume responsibility for the full financial accounting and administrative function
  • Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial reporting processes
  • Monitor working capital including debtors creditors and cash flow management
  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports for divisional management
  • Ensure compliance with statutory tax and internal reporting requirements
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations journal entries and general ledger accounts
  • Support capital expenditure planning and cost management initiatives
  • Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and process enhancements
  • Develop within a structured succession plan leading to a senior finance leadership role


Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience advantageous
  • Exposure to stock management beneficial
  • Strong financial reporting analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with financial reporting systems such as JDE QlikView Hyperion or similar
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership potential integrity and business acumen


Qualification:

  • CA(SA) qualification
