POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their Durban branch. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, developing strategic sales plans, and building long-term customer relationships within the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring efficient administration of equipment sales and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans and budgets aligned with company objectives. Promote and market divisional products and services within the designated territory. Analyse market trends and sales performance to identify growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders. Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities. Address customer enquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while continuously growing market share. Prepare quotations and manage business opportunities through the CRM and IFS systems. Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and activity reports. Ensure efficient administration of all equipment sales activities. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate). Degree or Diploma in Sales or a related qualification will be advantageous. 5-7 years'' proven sales experience. 3-5 years'' experience within the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industry or a related field. Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
