Finance Operations Manager
An established specialist debt recovery and debt management firm is seeking a dynamic Finance/Operations Manager to lead its finance function. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong operational insight multi-entity exposure and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Oversee the full finance and operational functions across multiple entities
- Manage and mentor a finance team of approximately three employees
- Prepare and review management accounts budgets forecasts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Liaise with banking and financial institution stakeholders
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
- Monitor cash flow financial performance and risk management activities
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models and reports
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years relevant finance management experience
- Proven multi-entity finance experience is essential
- Strong financial services or banking-related industry exposure
- Advanced Excel skills are required
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment
Qualification:
- CA(SA) preferred but not essential
- Candidates with CIMA completed Articles or a BCom degree will also be considered
