Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily financial transactions bank accounts debtors and creditors.
• Assist with month-end journals general ledger reconciliations and management reporting.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations and assist with statutory submissions.
• Maintain accurate financial records while supporting internal controls and audit preparation.
• Assist with fixed asset administration cashbook processing and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• BCom Degree Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 13 years experience in a Junior Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Experience working on an ERP or accounting system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical ability.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
