Product Manager – Feed Additives

The above vacancy exists at Trouw Nutrition South Africa and reports to the Sales Manager. The main purpose of this role is to propose implement and monitor new product marketing plans to achieve future sales and profit objectives for allocated products.

Job Description:

At Trouw Nutrition part of Nutreco our purpose is Feeding the Future. We develop innovative and sustainable nutritional solutions that help farmers improve animal performance and support responsible food production worldwide. Were looking for a Product Manager Feed Additives who combines technical expertise with commercial drive to grow our feed additives portfolio in Southern Africa.

What Youll Do
As Product Manager you will have a commercial and technical function for our feed additives portfolio. You will work closely with customers sales teams technical specialists and global colleagues to drive business growth and customer success.
Your key responsibilities:

• Drive the growth and sales performance of the specific feed additives portfolio.
• Act as the technical expert and first point of contact for product-related questions.
• Provide training and technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Plan coordinate and evaluate feed additive trials.
• Identify market opportunities and support product launches and portfolio development.
• Develop and execute product marketing plans.
• Create and maintain technical and commercial product materials.
• Monitor product performance market trends and customer needs.
• Support product quality management and follow up on customer complaints.

What Youll Bring

• Masters degree in Animal Nutrition Animal Science Veterinary Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in animal nutrition feed additives or a related industry.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into practical customer solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
