The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Actuarial Manager to lead a dynamic team of Actuarial Analysts within the Non-Life Corporate Actuarial division. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of robust reserving, regulatory capital modeling (SAM), and IFRS 17 reporting.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Actuarial Analysts—fostering technical excellence, innovation, and accountability.

Reserving & Methodology: Oversee end-to-end reserving processes, driving methodology development, assumption setting, and stakeholder engagement on reserve adequacy.

Regulatory & Capital Management: Direct both solo and group Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM) calculations and reporting in full compliance with standards.

IFRS 17 Excellence: Drive the ongoing delivery and alignment of IFRS 17 frameworks across accounting and actuarial functions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with the Head of Actuarial Function (HAF), external auditors, and Risk teams (supporting ERM, ORSA, Risk Appetite, and Stress Testing).

Strategic Influence: Present key insights, modeling outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior management and Board committees.

Continuous Improvement: Advance operational efficiency, automation, and model enhancements (including pricing, capital, and business planning models).
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: BSc in Actuarial Science (Required).

Experience:
5+ years of total actuarial experience (Essential).
3+ years in a Non-Life / Short-Term Insurance environment (Essential).
3+ years focused on Reserving, SAM, and IFRS 17 reporting (Essential).
1+ years in management/resource planning to deliver strategic business objectives (Essential).

Software: Experience with ResQ is highly advantageous.
