Maintenance Supervisor

This is a practical, all-rounder role suited to someone who thrives in a remote bush environment and takes full ownership of the property's upkeep from general repairs to preventative maintenance across guest and staff areas. Core Criteria: - Previous experience in a maintenance role within a lodge or hospitality environment - Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance - Experience with generators, pumps, and borehole/water reticulation systems advantageous - Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to upkeep - Comfortable working independently in a remote setting - Reliable, organised, and able to manage a small maintenance team - Good communication skills for liaising with lodge management Candidate Responsibilities: - Oversee and carry out day-to-day maintenance across the lodge and staff village - Manage preventative maintenance schedules for buildings, vehicles, and equipment - Attend to plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs - Maintain generators, pumps, and water systems - Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team - Manage maintenance stock, tools, and spares - Liaise with management on maintenance priorities and reporting - Ensure guest and staff areas are kept to a high standard of repair On Offer: - Salary: R16,000 R20,000 per month, dependent on experience - Live-in position, accommodation included
