Duties: Design custom hydraulic and pneumatic systems in line with customer specifications Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and diagrams with precision Plan workflow and material flow to optimise project efficiency Modify equipment or processes to enhance resource and cost efficiency Prepare detailed quotations for clients Oversee and inspect production processes ensuring quality and compliance Analyse, estimate, and report on project costs Develop cost, schedule, and technical specifications based on operational data Monitor and control inventory levels Oversee system and equipment installation and commissioning Deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline Resolve technical problems and handle customer queries Assist in managing the engineering department and ensure compliance Requirements: B-Tech degree in or related field 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering and project management 5 to 7 years of specialised experience in hydraulic and pneumatic system design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with inventory management, project management, Microsoft Office, and SYSPRO Familiarity with the following: AutoCAD and Inventor software Inventory management systems Project management methodologies What We'll Give You: The opportunity to lead impactful projects within a growth-oriented company A collaborative work environment with a focus on safety and quality standards Support for ongoing professional development and career advancement This role is based on-site in Boksburg, Gauteng, offering a vibrant and challenging environment for talented engineers eager to make a strategic impact.
