Senior Regulatory Pharmacist

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical products

• Prepare and submit documentation for product registration and variations

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation

• Support the development and review of internal policies to align with current regulations

• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on regulatory matters

Duties:

• Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape affecting pharmaceutical products

• Prepare and review technical dossiers for registration purposes

• Manage and coordinate regulatory inspections and audits

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all submissions and correspondence

• Assist in training staff on regulatory compliance standards

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs

• Formal qualification in pharmacy or related field

• Deep understanding of regulatory rules governing pharmaceuticals in South Africa

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Familiarity with the following:

• SAHPRA regulations and procedures

• Pharmaceutical product registration processes

• Quality management systems in a pharmaceutical context
