What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute the company's comprehensive commercial strategy across multiple brands and sales channels.

• Drive profitable sales growth through national retail and professional account management.

• Build and implement annual commercial business plans tailored for each retailer and brand.

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national sales team.

• Manage strategic retail partnerships with leading national retailers and professional accounts.

• Negotiate promotions, product listings, and joint business plans to maximize market impact.

• Develop and execute annual marketing calendars and product launch strategies.

• Localise international brand initiatives to resonate within the South African market.

• Analyse sales, sell-in, and sell-out data to enhance forecasting and inventory planning.

• Drive merchandising standards, retail execution, and in-store brand presence.

• Monitor commercial performance through detailed reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations.

• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to optimise inventory levels and commercial outcomes.

• Lead performance management, succession planning, and ongoing team development.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG or Health & Beauty sectors.

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management abilities.

• Proven track record of developing and executing effective commercial strategies.

• Ability to lead high-performing teams and manage key stakeholder relationships.
