Invoicing and Finance Assistant

POSITION INFO:

Empower our finance team by joining a reputable organization committed to operational excellence and reliable financial management. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated finance professional to play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting business growth.

What You'll Do:

• Capture, post, and allocate financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare and issue invoices and credit notes to clients

• Assist with creditors reconciliations and allocations

• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations

• Support monthly financial reporting activities such as expense reports, asset updates, and stocktakes

• Prepare financial documents for banks and other institutions

• Undertake other financial tasks as required

Requirements:

• Matric qualification

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Recent experience with Pastel or Sage (Evolution) for at least 2 years

• Strong management, reliability, and accuracy skills

• Knowledge of RPE (Revenue Protection Equipment) is advantageous

Familiarity with the following:

• Financial reporting software and accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
