Investment Banking AssociateVice President (Mining & Metals)

We are currently seeking an Investment Banking Associate/Vice President (Mining & Metals)to join our reputable clients team.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience and must have prior transaction experience within the metals & mining or wider natural resources sector.
• Strong technical capabilities across financial analysis valuation and transaction structuring combined with a working understanding of mining-specific metrics and how exploration development and producing assets are valued.
• A proven ability to build relationships with corporate clients financial sponsors and specialist mining investors and to originate and execute mandates.
• Familiarity with the deal types relevant to the sector including M&A equity capital raising project and debt finance and royalty and streaming structures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working alongside colleagues across the firms regional offices.
• Strong skills using technology.
• Experience within an investment bank corporate finance advisory private equity or resources-focused fund with sector exposure to precious metals base and battery metals bulk commodities or mining services considered a strong advantage.
