Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to join a luxury private game reserve in the Sabi Sands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate housekeeping professional who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness presentation and guest service within a luxury safari environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all Housekeeping and Laundry operations
  
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the property
  
• Lead train and motivate the housekeeping and laundry teams
  
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces
  
• Manage housekeeping stock linen amenities and equipment
  
• Ensure efficient laundry operations and quality control
  
• Monitor departmental standards and implement improvements where required
  
• Assist with staff scheduling training and performance management
  
• Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards
  
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  

Requirements

• Previous Housekeeping & Laundry Management experience within a luxury hotel lodge or private game reserve environment
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  
• Professional hands-on and guest-focused approach
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Previous experience managing stock linen and departmental budgets would be advantageous
