Business Analyst – Distributor Performance

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CEO, supporting strategic decision-making across a global distributor network spanning approximately 70 countries.This is a role for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with commercial engagement to help drive business performance and long-term growth.What you'll be doing• Analyse distributor purchasing trends against annual targets.• Prepare weekly, monthly and executive-level performance reports and dashboards.• Monitor distributor performance, sales pipelines, compliance and growth opportunities.• Identify trends, market opportunities and potential business risks.• Partner with distributors to maintain accurate business data across multiple systems.• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors across international markets.• Work closely with internal teams to support commercial planning and forecasting.• Provide data-driven recommendations that improve commercial performance.• Analyse product, market and SKU performance to support strategic decisions.• Monitor competitor activity and market developments.• Present meaningful insights to senior management and executive leadership.Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.• 3–5 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Data Analyst or Commercial Finance role.• Experience within manufacturing, cosmetics, beauty, FMCG or another distributor-based business environment is essential.• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and data modelling.• Experience working with large datasets and transforming data into commercial insights.• Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.• Experience with Power BI, SQL, SYSPRO or other ERP and Business Intelligence systems will be advantageous.What's on offer• Competitive salary.• Provident Fund.• Group Life Cover.• Medical Aid Allowance.• Annual performance-related incentives.• Generous annual leave.• Long-term career growth within a successful international manufacturing business.Apply nowIf you are commercially minded, analytical by nature and enjoy using data to influence business decisions while working with global stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today by submitting your CV.
