An opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor is required for permanent employment based in the Midvaal.

• This role requires a candidate with strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle maintenance operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate workshop workflows efficiently.
• The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between customers, workshop technicians and parts departments, ensuring vehicles are diagnosed, repaired and returned to service on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles and trucks in for servicing, repairs and inspections
• Open, manage and close job cards for all service and repair work
  Conduct initial vehicle assessments and accurately record reported faults and customer concerns
• Coordinate seamless communication between customers, workshop technicians and the parts department
• Provide accurate repair estimates, service recommendations and clear cost explanations to clients
• Monitor workshop job progress and ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of service history, repairs, parts usage and warranty claims
• Ensure all warranty claims and manufacturer service procedures are completed correctly and timeously
• Follow up with customers on repair status, service updates and vehicle collection arrangements
• Assist with workshop scheduling to optimise technician productivity and workflow
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet clients and commercial vehicle operators

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Service Advisor in a truck / heavy commercial vehicle (HMV), medium commercial vehicle (MMV) or light commercial vehicle (LMV) workshop / dealership environment (essential)
• Strong technical understanding of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair processes
• Hands-on experience with mutli-truck brands and warranty systems
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple job cards and service workflows simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong administrative, organisational and computer literacy skills (dealership / workshop management systems advantageous)

• Local residency or willing to relocate to Midvaal / surrounding Gauteng areas
