Office Manager / Accountant

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Office Manager / Accountant to oversee the financial and operational functions of a dynamic property business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys balancing finance, administration, and office management while contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's financial management, accounting, and reporting functions.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with annual financial statements and audits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee office operations, administration, and support functions.
• Manage suppliers, service providers, contracts, and general office resources.
• Support business decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
• Lead and mentor administrative and finance staff while driving operational efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification or a recognised Accounting qualification.
• Previous experience in an Office Manager, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Experience within the property industry will be advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
