Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
An established national FMCG business is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow its KwaZulu-Natal sales and merchandising operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about developing people, driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Genuinely sales driven and commercially minded.
• Comfortable cold calling, prospecting and opening new business.
• Able to grow existing customers through ranging, additional listings, distribution and sales initiatives.
• Strong at managing, motivating and holding a Sales & Merchandising team accountable.
• Hands-on in the field and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
• Administratively strong and highly organised – this is not purely a field sales role.
• Strong in Excel and comfortable analysing sales and other large datasets.
• Able to use the numbers to identify opportunities and drive action.
• Practical, proactive and willing to get involved.
• Hardworking and passionate about sales

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and manage a regional sales and merchandising team.
• Drive regional sales growth and achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Develop sales strategies to increase market share and grow customer accounts.
• Ensure excellent in-store execution, merchandising standards and stock availability.
• Build strong relationships with key retail customers.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage regional operations, reporting and team performance.
