Job Description

  • A leading company within the renewable energy sector is looking for an experienced Sales Advisor to join their team in Pretoria.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming leads, meeting with clients, conducting site assessments, recommending suitable solar solutions, and managing the sales process through to quotation and implementation.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, client-focused sales professional who is passionate about renewable energy and enjoys identifying opportunities and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming leads and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Provide expert knowledge on products, solutions and professional services.
  • Conduct site assessments and present appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Conduct solar layout assessments using aerial drone imagery.
  • Clearly explain and articulate the company's products and service offering.
  • Recommend solutions based on individual client requirements.
  • Assess proposed project plans and prepare summaries and quotations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reporting.
  • Ensure all sales-related administration is kept up to date.
  • Build and maintain strong professional client relationships.
  • Provide feedback regarding client needs and potential improvements.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a sales role.
  • Experience within the solar/renewable energy industry is highly advantageous.
  • Construction industry experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Mature, professional and able to work independently.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to take initiative.
  • Strong administration, reporting and organisational skills.
  • Process-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • HubSpot experience would be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Comfortable conducting client meetings and travelling to sites.
