The successful candidate will play a key role in managing payroll tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance within a global payroll structure.Role ResponsibilitiesThe Payroll Tax Administrator will be responsible for supporting payroll preparation and managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions within a global Employer of Record operating model. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll tax processes, compliance risk, and cross-border tax complexities.You will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll tax processing, managing tax submissions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting compliance initiatives across international markets.DutiesManage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictionsEnsure accurate gross-to-net payroll tax processing in line with country-specific requirementsPrepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax submissionsInvestigate and resolve payroll tax discrepancies and reconciliation issuesEnsure the timely submission and payment of taxes and statutory contributionsMonitor legislative changes and implement relevant compliance updatesLiaise with in-country stakeholders to resolve payroll tax queriesSupport internal audits and compliance reviewsMaintain accurate payroll tax records and supporting documentationAssist with ad hoc payroll tax and compliance-related tasksRequirements and SkillsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related fieldProven payroll and/or tax experience in multi-jurisdiction or cross-border environmentsExperience managing payroll tax submissions and compliance processesStrong understanding of tax compliance within international payroll structuresAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, nested IF statements, and reconciliationsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively under strict deadlines and across multiple time zonesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAdvantageous experience includes exposure to Employer of Record environments, global payroll operations, cross-border tax implications, intercompany transactions, and multi-country reconciliations.Application ProcessThe recruitment process includes an initial interview followed by a technical assessment evaluating payroll tax competency, analytical thinking, Excel proficiency, and communication skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic global organisation where technical expertise, precision, and analytical thinking are highly valued.
