POSITION INFO:

A business operating within the large-format printing and custom manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage client projects from the initial quotation request through design, production, installation and final sign-off.

The Project Manager will be the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle and will coordinate information between clients, designers, production teams, installers and finance. This is not a sales role. The position requires strong project ownership, client communication and the ability to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, clarify and manage client quotation requests
• Confirm project scope, dimensions, quantities, materials, location, timelines and budget
• Prepare or coordinate accurate quotations and proposals
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and manage the acceptance process
• Maintain accurate project, quotation and delivery information on CRM and ERP systems
• Brief internal and external designers on project requirements
• Coordinate artwork, proofs, revisions and client approvals
• Ensure written client sign-off is received before production begins
• Hand accepted projects over to production with complete documentation
• Monitor production progress and identify possible delays or quality concerns
• Confirm stock, materials and substrates are available or ordered
• Coordinate site readiness, access, installation dates and installer requirements
• Conduct or coordinate site visits for complex installations
• Obtain client sign-off after installation
• Manage snags, defects and rework requirements
• Keep clients informed of progress, changes and potential delays
• Complete project documentation and hand completed jobs over for invoicing

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  3–6 years’ experience in project management, account management or client services Experience in large-format printing, signage, wallcoverings, vinyl, interiors or a related custom-production environment is strongly preferred Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Experience coordinating clients, designers, production teams and installers Strong client communication and relationship-management skills Experience preparing quotations, proposals and presentations Knowledge of artwork briefing, proofing and client approval processes Comfortable using ERP, CRM and job-management systems Fusion ERP experience would be advantageous Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Understanding of job costing, pricing or production scheduling would be advantageous
