Email Copywriter & Strategist

DesignRush, a B2B marketplace connecting brands with agencies, is seeking an experienced Email Copywriter & Strategist to lead and execute high‑impact email campaigns across newsletters, automation workflows, and lead nurturing funnels.

The candidate must be a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of the tasks at hand and ensure timely and high‑quality output through collaboration with other team members.

We’re looking for an Email Copywriter & Strategist whose main goal is to drive engagement and conversion through strategic, data‑driven email marketing campaigns. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering value to our audience and generating qualified leads through targeted email workflows.

• Create upsell and cross‑sell flows tied to user intent and lifecycle stages
• Use automation, segmentation, and personalization to increase conversions

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimize weekly email newsletters and promotional sends, and manage the entire funnel
• Build and manage lifecycle automation: onboarding, dormant reactivation, upsell/cross‑sell
• Lead segmentation strategies for agencies, brands, and different buyer profiles
• Work with design/content to ensure compelling creative and UX
• Analyze email revenue performance and deliver actionable recommendations
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, and other email marketing regulations

Requirements

• 5+ years in email marketing, preferably in B2B or agency/marketplace environments
• Proven success building email revenue funnels, ideally with upsell/retention mechanics
• Experience in ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Marketo
• Fluent written/spoken English with strong copy instincts
• Comfortable with HTML/CSS for minor adjustments
• Available between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. ET
• Knowledge of AI tools and workflow automations
• Experience with B2B email automations for eCommerce or marketplace products is a strong plus
