Are you ready to take the lead in managing a dynamic portfolio of short-term rental properties? Our client, a well-established player in the hospitality industry, is seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join their Gauteng team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, enhance guest experiences, and contribute to business growth.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a portfolio of short-term rental properties from end to end
• Oversee daily operations across multiple properties
• Conduct regular property inspections and quality audits
• Ensure operational, brand, and service standards are consistently met
• Coordinate onboarding and setup of new properties
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Property Hosts
• Manage operational priorities and team performance
• Act as the escalation point for guest and operational issues
• Drive occupancy, revenue, and overall portfolio performance
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and revenue opportunities
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational and performance reports
• Analyse portfolio data to identify improvement opportunities
• Build strong relationships with property owners, contractors, and suppliers
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Customer Experience, and Finance teams
• Ensure accurate operational reporting for owners
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of property management experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Analytical mindset with good reporting skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Property Management software
• Experience in hospitality or related industries

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of market trends within the hospitality sector
• Additional language skills
