Work Hours (Client): Monday to Friday - 8 am - 4 pm CST. Full-time, Permanent.

Pay Range: $3000 - $4000 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level).

About us:

The company is a growing real estate investment and property management firm specializing in multifamily assets, particularly in affordable housing. Currently managing 100 apartments with plans for expansion into third-party property management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As CFO, you will shape the financial direction of our expanding real estate portfolio, working closely with the founder and stakeholders to ensure financial health and provide strategic insights. Responsibilities include overseeing financial activities, property management data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting. Your ability to interpret and communicate financial data will be vital for operational efficiency and investor confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage financial reporting, including reconciliation of AppFolio and QuickBooks data.
• Track and analyze financial data related to property management, including cash flow, budgets, and expenses.
• Own property-level financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Communicate financial data clearly to internal teams and investors.
• Prepare and present investor reports with accurate and insightful data.
• Maintain effective communication with investors regarding financial performance.
• Serve as financial liaison for property management activities.
• Optimize financial processes to reduce external management reliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, providing financial insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven experience in real estate finance and property management.
• Experience with property management platforms, ideally AppFolio.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills.
