Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior regional leadership to translate global HR strategies into effective regional execution plans.
- Drive HR transformation initiatives across multiple African markets, ensuring consistency, governance, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate regional HR projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives while managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Foster strong collaboration between regional, global, and corporate HR teams to ensure alignment with organisational policies and best practices.
- Support and influence country HR teams by promoting consistent processes, compliance, and high-quality HR service delivery.
- Lead regional reporting, workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive presentations to support informed business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, governance, and employee experience across the region.
- Provide strategic guidance on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations, change management, and HR operations.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders across diverse markets.
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification and/or recognised HR certification will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience within multinational organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in HR Business Partnering or Generalist leadership roles across multiple African markets.
- Strong project management experience leading regional or enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
- Solid understanding of HR governance, employment legislation, compliance, workforce planning, performance management, organisational development, and employee relations.
- Experience operating within a complex, matrixed international environment.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel across Africa as required.
