FARM MANAGER

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Computer literate - Excel and Word essential
• Valid driver's licence
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Mechanical experience
• Proven experience managing staff, including large work teams
• Stock management experience (horses / cattle)
• Pasture management experience, including the clearing of alien species
• Fodder production experience
• Able to liaise with the accounting team and participate in management meetings
• Able to participate in the creation of robust management systems enabling smooth farm operations
• Able to source necessary farm purchases at the best value
• Compost experience
• Worm farming experience (advantageous)
• Avocado orchard experience advantageous, but not essential - this role is not for an avocado production manager
