Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and uphold financial policies and procedures for regulatory compliance and best practices
2. Create and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and regularly update senior management
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of company financial records
4. Manage shareholder expectations and proactively communicate any issues
5. Provide guidance and support to finance team for efficient operations
6. Oversee real estate management, including lease negotiations and store expansions
7. Prepare store viabilities for board presentation
8. Manage risk activities including insurance and forex management
9. Review legal contracts, supplier terms, and SLAs
10. Foster close collaboration with retail operations and supply chain
11. Analyze financial data, offering strategic insights and recommendations to senior management
12. Manage company cash flow, ensuring appropriate allocation and investment
13. Drive continuous improvement of company gross profit
14. Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with overall business objectives
15. Implement financial strategies supporting growth and profitability

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of post-article experience
• Experience in the retail and/or property industry
• Intermediate to advanced level Excel is highly advantageous
• Experience with Xero is advantageous
