Finance Manager (CA)

Minimum Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))/ CIMA Qualification essential


• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a senior finance role within a manufacturing environment


• Proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning


• Hands‑on experience with asset management and operational finance


• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


• Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, reports, and records


• Strong computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and project teams effectively


• Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and relationship building


• Flexibility and adaptability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning


• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision‑making


• Drive long‑term financial planning and capital allocation strategies


• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to execute corporate strategy


• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS/ GAAP


• Oversee preparation of board‑level reports and presentations


• Manage cash flow, working capital, and profitability


• Ensure effective budgeting control and financial performance tracking


• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks


• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SARS regulations, and corporate governance standards


• Lead internal and external audit processes


• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions


• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems


• Ensure alignment between finance and operational functions


• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team


• Build strong cross‑functional relationships across the business


• Present financial performance to executives, board members, and stakeholders
