Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures across operations
• Assist with financial planning, variance analysis, and reporting to management
• Support stock, inventory, and manufacturing cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards
• Collaborate with operational departments to improve efficiencies and profitability

Education

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role
• Industry experience within Manufacturing, Mining, or FMCG is highly preferred
• Experience working within an operational or plant-based environment will be advantageous

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience will be advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow within the business
• Ability to work on-site and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
