Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure patients have access to fresh ice water at all beverage stations and ensure tea/coffee urns are filled operational and available throughout service patients tea coffee beverages snacks and meals in a professional courteous and timely patients with menu selection and ensure menu cards are completed accurately according to patient preferences and dietary completed menu cards to the kitchen within the required and update patient diet lists before each meal all diet changes special requests and dietary restrictions to the kitchen promptly and food trolleys safely and efficiently between the kitchen and wards ensuring meals are delivered on that meal trays are complete accurate and meet the required quality standards before delivery to meals in accordance with hospital procedures and provide excellent patient service at all trays promptly after meals and ensure ward areas remain clean tidy and free from used meal service strict control of crockery cutlery and serving equipment ensuring all items are accounted for and stored sanitise and handle cutlery and service equipment in accordance with food safety and hygiene cutlery is presented appropriately and in line with hospital and Tsebo service a clean organised and hygienic ward kitchen and service area at all to all food safety health and safety infection control and hygiene the prescribed uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and maintain a professional appearance at all exceptional patient-focused service that promotes comfort dignity and a positive dining special service requirements for private patients in accordance with client and hospital service level service stock equipment hygiene or patient care concerns to the relevant supervisor with all Tsebo Catering policies procedures quality standards and client requirements.-
