Key Responsibilities
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform high-precision CO2 and ARC welding to repair, build, and maintain industrial machinery.
- Mechanical & Die Work: Inspect, troubleshoot, build, shape, and repair mechanical systems and specialized dies.
- Installation & Maintenance: Assemble and install metal structures and machinery, conducting routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Technical Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to meet design specifications.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe, clean work environment and uphold strict safety regulations and industry standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a Boilermaker/Fitter, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Welding Proficiency: Proven expertise in CO2 and ARC welding techniques.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and solve complex mechanical issues.
- Industry Experience: Background in the brick, concrete, or construction materials industry is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Formal welding or trade qualifications are preferred.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or collaborating within a team.
