Remuneration Manager - Linbropark

SUMMARY:
Our client in Linbro Park is looking for a Remuneration Manager with 10 years payroll management experience of which 3 years must be in a managerial role and 3 years experience in payroll system / implementation / interface role. Payroll must be in excess of 1000 employees.

Suitable candidates will undergo assessment tests.
Salary and benefits depending on candidates experience.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• MUST have Payspace payroll system experience and Unique Time and Attendance system experience
• Subject matter expert for payroll, payroll system, payroll taxes and complex payroll processing
• Proven track record and experience in payroll implementation and interfaces to other applications - essential
• Payroll programming (Huge advantage)
• Budget Experience: Compilation and controlling of budgets essential
• Tax submission experience
• Accounting background experience
• Very strong sound reconciliation experience. Ability to perform complex reconciliations and journals
• Advanced MS Word and Excel skills
• Payroll management, including management of capturing, reconciling, control processes
• Input into policies and workflow processes (Medical Aid process, garnishee process, etcetera)
• Knowledge of legislation applicable to payroll
• Report writing skills on Payspace essential
• In-depth knowledge of relevant labour laws i.e. LRA, BCEA, COIDA, OSHA, POPI, INCOME TAX ACT, Wage Determination Act as well as Bargaining Council Agreements and Payroll best practices
