Divisional Finance Executive: Supply Chain

SUMMARY:
Location: Durban, KZN
Start date: As soon as possible - this is a new position and the role is currently vacant.

We're interested in a high-performing, technology-driven, and commercially astute individual with a CA (SA)/or MBA qualification and at least 8 years of senior finance management experience in the Consumer Goods FMCG/ Retail/ Wholesale/ 3PL distribution environment.

Role:

This role reports to the Group Finance Executive, and the person working in this role will be the primary custodian and strategic business partner for all supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing cost accounting, and distribution. Acting as the critical link between Supply Chain and Group Finance, the role ensures capital allocation, cash flow management, risk governance and technologically-enabled reporting are aligned to the Group's commercial and operational strategy.

Minimum requirements:

• CA(SA)/ CIMA/ACC or equivalent | MBA advantageous.
• 8+ years of finance, with at least 3 years in a supply chain, operations or commercial finance role.
• Full ownership of Supply Chain P7L.
• ERP implementation or optimisation exposure, including AI and automation tools.
• Experience in a high-growth or fast-scaling operational, multi-unit environment.
• Strong leadership and people management background.
