Production Planning Supervisor

Our client, an established organization committed to operational excellence, is seeking a driven Production Planning Supervisor to oversee and optimise their production processes, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery in Robertsham.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in planning and scheduling production to meet delivery timelines

• Monitor and track work-in-progress (WIP) jobs for timely completion

• Collaborate with production teams to balance factory capacity and mitigate bottlenecks

• Ensure all production jobs are loaded and tracked in Syspro/WMS

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements with procurement

• Follow up with suppliers on outstanding materials and delayed deliveries

• Assist in stock take and inventory control processes

• Support Kaizen and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

• Track and analyse production costs, ensuring alignment with budget targets

• Identify and implement factory layout improvements to optimise workflow

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on production progress, costs, and efficiency metrics

• Monitor labour allocations and resource utilisation for cost efficiency

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering or Production Management

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• At least 1-2 years in a supervisory role

• Experience with Syspro, WMS, and production planning tools

• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office

• Knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing
