You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities whilst building and maintaining relationships with equipment dealers, contractors, mining companies,
construction firms, transport businesses, and other commercial clients requiring asset finance
solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Relevant qualification in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field will be advantageous
Minimum 25 years'' experience in business development, sales, asset finance, commercial finance, banking, or equipment finance
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience within the asset finance, commercial finance, construction, mining, transport, or agricultural sectors will be advantageous
Existing industry network and extensive travel throughout Gauteng
Flexible working hours as required by business needs
Valid driver''s licence and own reliable vehicle required.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth
Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
Conduct cold calling, networking, and client visits to secure new business
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote the company
Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers, dealers, brokers, and
referral partners
Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients throughout the sales process
Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders and strategic partners
Sales & Finance Origination
Present financing solutions tailored to client requirements
Gather and assess client information required for finance applications
Liaise with the credit department to facilitate efficient deal processing
Negotiate terms and structures within company guidelines
Ensure all sales opportunities are progressed effectively from lead generation to payout
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Identify emerging opportunities within the construction, mining, transport, agricultural, and
earthmoving sectors
Provide market feedback and recommendations to management
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry developments and customer needs
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM systems
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
Monitor pipeline performance and forecast future business opportunities
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously
