Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Our client is an established technology solutions provider helps businesses across South Africa leverage technology to improve efficiency security and operational performance. They are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to work closely with both the sales and technical teams to identify opportunities design tailored solutions and help clients make informed technology decisions. This is a highly visible client-facing role that combines technical expertise with business development and relationship management.
Rather than simply selling products youll act as a trusted advisor helping clients solve real business challenges through strategically designed IT and cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients alongside the sales team to identify technology opportunities and business challenges
- Conduct site visits assessments and discovery workshops to understand client requirement
- Design and recommend solutions across: Managed IT Services Networking & InfrastructureMicrosoft 365 & Cloud andCybersecurity Solutions
- Build solution proposals quotations pricing models and technical architectures
- Present recommendations to stakeholders and assist in closing opportunities
Requirements:
- Experience in IT pre-sales solution consulting managed services or technology sales environments
- Strong customer-facing experience within an IT solutions environment
- Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including routing switching and wireless technologies
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions and cloud services
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including endpoint email and firewall security
- Knowledge of server and infrastructure technologies
- Experience producing technical proposals and solution designs
- CCNA Microsoft Sophos MikroTik CompTIA or related certifications
