Financial Manager | Kuruman | R35 000 per month

An established company with its head office based in Gauteng is seeking a Financial Manager to join its Kuruman operation. The first interview for this position will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

While many finance positions in the Kuruman area require mining experience, this opportunity is different. The company is ideally looking for someone with a background in FMCG or retail.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a Financial Manager who enjoys being involved in the operational side of the business while also working within strict financial reporting deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to head office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the finance function at the Kuruman operation
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to head office
• Ensure financial reporting deadlines are consistently met
• Work closely with operational teams and provide financial support to the business
• Supervise and support members of the finance team
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting processes

Requirements

• BCom Degree (essential)
• SAIPA or SAICA articles (ideal)
• Relevant post‑article experience
• Previous FMCG or retail experience ideally required
• Experience with SAP and Pastel
• Strong financial reporting skills
• Leadership or supervisory experience, including leadership experience gained during articles
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, operational environment
• Ability to work accurately within strict reporting deadlines
