MBUSO Sales Rep (Crane Hire)

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Evaluate customer site requirements, including crane capacity, transport, rigging, and equipment needs.

• Formalise sales offers through detailed quotations and ensure all documentation is complete.

• Source and develop new business opportunities while managing existing client relationships.

• Coordinate price negotiations, discounts, and resolve any client dissatisfaction or complaints.

• Ensure customer accounts are maintained within payment terms and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Facilitate timely billing, support month-end reporting, and reconcile sales against crane utilisation.

• Liaise with operations to secure bookings and ensure all hire agreements are signed.

• Manage cash and invoice queries, ensuring all payments are banked before hire.

• Support branch administration and contribute to team efforts, including working outside standard hours and traveling extensively.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the construction or crane hire industry.

• Strong understanding of lifting and crane operations.

• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Familiarity with the following:

• Construction industry standards and practices.

• Customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

• Basic financial processes related to invoicing and payments.
