Senior Fiduciary Partner | High-Net-Worth Estate Planning

Our client, a premier wealth management and fiduciary group, is seeking an experienced Fiduciary Partner to manage, structure, and administer complex estate planning solutions for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Advisory: Deliver strategic fiduciary and tax advice to high-net-worth clients and wealth advisors. Lead annual trustee meetings, propose tailored estate planning solutions, and build long-term client relationships.
Drafting & Technical Oversight: Accurately draft Wills, trust deeds, fiduciary reports, resolutions, and deceased estate documents. Perform estate duty calculations and oversee local and offshore trust structures.
Trust & Deceased Estate Administration: Assume responsibility as a representative trustee. Coordinate with heirs, advisors, and internal teams regarding the progress and reporting of deceased estates.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all advice, structures, and practice management align with local legislation, tax standards, data security, and compliance frameworks (SARS, Master of the High Court, FICA, POPIA, FATCA, Exchange Control).
Business Development & Thought Leadership: Support wealth advisors with proposals, identify cross-selling opportunities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to fiduciary market insights and presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: BA/BComm LLB or equivalent legal qualification. A tax qualification or CFP is highly advantageous.
Experience: Admitted Attorney with at least 10 years post-articles experience within the fiduciary industry.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of estate planning for HNW clients, tax implications, local/offshore trusts, and deceased estate governance.
Skills: Excellent drafting abilities, strategic problem-solving skills, and dynamic client-relationship capabilities. Bi-lingual capability (English and Afrikaans) is preferred.
