Digital Specialist

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a Digital Specialist with a passion for media and digital audiences, who can grow an established brand’s online presence and engagement.

What will you do:

Digital Content Management

• Create, publish, and manage engaging digital content across the website , App and social media platforms

• Adapt on-air content into digital formats including articles, videos, podcasts, reels and short-form content

• Ensure all digital content aligns with the station's brand, programming and editorial standards

• Maintain content calendars and coordinate digital publishing schedules

Social Media Management

• Manage the station's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)

• Develop strategies to increase audience engagement, followers and community interaction

• Monitor trends and create timely, relevant content

• Respond to audience comments and messages where appropriate

Website Management

• Communicate all required maintenance and updates for the website – with service provider

• Publish news, competitions, podcasts, event information and promotional content

• Ensure website content is accurate, current and SEO-friendly

• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote shows, presenters, events and competitions

• Manage email marketing campaigns and subscriber databases

• Coordinate paid digital advertising campaigns where applicable

• Support commercial campaigns with digital promotional activities

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor website, social media, streaming and campaign performance

• Produce monthly digital performance reports

• Analyse audience behaviour and recommend strategies for growth

• Track KPIs and campaign effectiveness

What will you need:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in: Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing or Multimedia or related field

• 2–5 years' experience in digital marketing, media, or content creation

• Experience managing multiple social media platforms

• Experience with content management systems (CMS)

• Radio or TV media industry experience is advantageous

• Technical Skills: Social media management platforms, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEO best practices, Email marketing platforms, WordPress or similar CMS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator), Canva, Video editing software, Basic audio editing, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
