• Implement and uphold remuneration policies, philosophies, and practices.
• Manage the payroll and Time & Attendance systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Oversee end-of-month, end-of-year, and tax-year payroll reporting, including financial reconciliations.
• Develop, document, and improve payroll policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Foster strong communication and relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation across all payroll functions.
• Lead strategic payroll projects and contribute to departmental planning.

Duties:

• Oversee payroll processes, controls, and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification and/or relevant payroll-related certification.
• Extensive expertise in payroll systems, taxes, and complex processing.
• Proven experience in payroll implementation and integration with other systems.
• Strong payroll programming skills.
• Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance standards.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
