Social Media & Content Specialist (Somerset West On-site)

YOUR keen eye for great layout and brand presentation & ability to write in a clear, human, and proof-driven way is wanted to fill the role of a Social Media & Content Specialist to join the team of a dynamic ICT Service Provider based in Somerset West. This is not a “post when you feel inspired” role. This is a structured, high-output execution role focused on building brand trust, strengthening customer communication, and creating consistent market visibility. They want someone who understands that strong brands are built through consistency, proof, clarity, and disciplined communication. If you enjoy creating meaningful content, working with structure, and turning real business value into visible credibility, have 1-3 years proven experience in social media, content, or digital marketing execution with working knowledge of Wix, Zoho & Canva, then APPLY NOW!

DUTIES:

Daily Social Output and Community Growth -

· Publish 6 structured posts per day across defined content categories.

· Maintain a weekly content plan with approvals where required.

· Monitor comments and route inbound messages to the correct internal owners.

· Support audience growth through consistent, relevant content.

Customer Communication (Zoho Marketing) -

· Send monthly newsletters on time.

· Create content focused on value, proof, and business improvement.

· Segment audiences correctly (clients, prospects, partners).

· Run one additional monthly campaign (referral, advocacy, or reactivation).

Wix Website Trust Hub Maintenance -

· Maintain pages across services, proof, blogs, and Customer Journeys.

· Publish at least 1 Customer Journey per week.

· Ensure strong on-page hygiene (titles, links, mobile responsiveness).

· Keep the website current, clear, and credible.

Brand Consistency and Asset Management -

· Maintain consistent templates and visual standards across all content.

· Standardise and review email signatures.

· Support internal brand initiatives and customer-facing assets.

· Apply and maintain approved tone, messaging, and positioning.

Proof Capture and Credibility Building -

· Interview internal team members weekly to capture wins.

· Convert wins into testimonials, proof posts, and mini–Customer Journey pieces.

· Maintain a backlog of at least 30 proof assets ready for use.

· Ensure proof is consistently captured and turned into content.

REQUIREMENTS:

Non-Negotiables –

· 1–3 Years’ proven experience in social media, content, or digital marketing execution, ideally for a brand or business-facing audience.

· Working proficiency with Wix (pages, blogs, mobile checks, SEO basics).

· Zoho Marketing experience (campaigns, newsletters, segmentation).

· Graphic Design ability (Canva or similar, templates, layout discipline).

· Strong writing ability (clear, structured, human, proof-driven).

· High attention to detail across all content.

· Consistent execution and ownership.

· Ability to work within systems and maintain structure.

Additional –

· Hands-on experience managing content across Facebook and LinkedIn.
