Property Chief Financial Officer

Due to expansion and the elevation of the previous CFO to Chief Financial & Investment Officer , a brand‑new CFO position has been created, reporting directly to the CFIO. This is a board‑level, hands‑on leadership opportunity to shape and elevate the company’s financial and operational framework. You will provide strategic direction and operational oversight across Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal & Compliance, with full accountability for financial planning, governance and long‑term operational discipline. Core responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting; implementing robust controls and risk frameworks; integrating corporate support functions for peak performance; and driving performance management through KPIs and targets that ensure resilience and scalability across all sites.
The ideal candidate is a CA(SA) or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years' senior financial leadership experience in operational Real Estate, Hospitality or Student Accommodation, including multi‑site finance and operational oversight. You will have a proven record in operational as well as strategic finance leadership, including cost control, margin enhancement and portfolio reporting. Experience managing Finance plus at least two of HR, IT or Legal at executive level is essential, as are exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and Board communication skills.
