DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGER | MONDEOR, JHB

A well-established Dental Practice in Mondeor, Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced and confident Dental Practice Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a dental practice and be comfortable overseeing the daily administrative, operational and financial functions of the practice.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Practice Manager is essential

• Experience with GoodX would be highly advantageous, as this is the practice's billing system; experience with a similar system will also be considered

• Strong knowledge of dental practice administration and daily operations

• Experience with medical aid claims, billing and patient accounts

• Good understanding of practice finances and debtors

• Previous experience managing and supporting a dental team

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional and patient-focused approach

• Computer literate and comfortable using dental practice management software

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy practice

• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice

• Manage and support the practice team

• Ensure excellent patient service and smooth patient flow

• Manage appointments and general practice administration

• Oversee billing, medical aid claims and outstanding accounts

• Assist with stock control and ordering

• Monitor practice finances and administrative processes

• Handle patient and staff queries professionally

• Ensure practice policies and procedures are followed

• Support the dentist/s with the overall management of the practice

• Maintain an efficient, professional and well-organised practice environment

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00, and every Saturday from 08:30 – 13:00

Salary: R18,000 – R22,000 per month, depending on experience (before deductions)
