Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Collections and Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, handling collections, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments
• Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue payments
• Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with customers to resolve outstanding balances
• Update customer information and payment records accurately in the database
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide solutions
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with clients
• Meet individual and team targets for collections and customer service metrics
• Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance the collections and customer service processes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections and customer service, preferably in a financial services company
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy
• Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections and customer service
• Fluency in English, additional languages will be an advantage
