SALES CONSULTANT – PRESSURE MANAGEMENT EQUIPMENT

Location: Southern Africa Salary: R750,000 – R900,000 CTC per annum

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant – Pressure Management Equipment to develop new business, manage key customer relationships and provide technically appropriate pressure management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new customers and business opportunities.
• Conduct face-to-face consultative sales and customer visits.
• Maintain and update CRM opportunities, activities and sales plans.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve agreed sales budgets.
• Work with internal engineering teams to develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Gather technical information required for sizing and product selection.
• Present and demonstrate technical products to customers.
• Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities.
• Provide effective after-sales support.
• Plan and conduct customer site walk-downs.
• Promote service and repair opportunities.
• Monitor customer shutdowns, outages and turnarounds to identify opportunities.
• Develop relationships with new stakeholders and identify additional business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and opportunity reporting.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• N3 minimum, preferably with Mechanical Engineering.
• N6 advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Pressure Relief Valves, Safety Relief Valves and Industrial Regulators.
• Experience with Pressure Vessels and relevant codes.
• Process plant experience advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Southern Africa.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have a strong combination of technical product knowledge and consultative sales ability, with experience engaging engineering, maintenance, procurement and other technical stakeholders within process and industrial environments.

Salary: R750,000 – R900,000 CTC per annumity and opportunity reporting.
