Senior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly creative skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead an in-house design team and take ownership of high-impact design projects across a diverse portfolio of products and brands.

The successful candidate will have a strong eye for design excellent technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and designers simultaneously.

The role is responsible for delivering visually compelling brand-aligned creative work across marketing communications product packaging catalogues digital platforms and other customer-facing materials.

Creative Leadership & Team Oversight

• Lead mentor and support a small in-house design team
• Review guide and sign off on design work to ensure quality and brand consistency
• Check all artwork and written content for spelling grammatical pricing and product-information errors before publication
• Maintain a collaborative and creative environment while ensuring deadlines are met
• Provide constructive feedback and support the development of junior designers

Project Management

• Take ownership of large-scale design projects including:
• Customer signage and branding
• Product brochures and catalogues
• In-store and point-of-sale visuals
• Trade show and event branding
• Digital marketing materials
• Manage design workflows timelines priorities and approvals
• Work closely with the Marketing Director to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail

Graphic & Packaging Design

• Develop high-quality creative concepts and designs across digital print packaging and environmental applications
• Create engaging layouts campaign visuals and marketing collateral
• Design packaging for new and existing product ranges ensuring functionality shelf appeal and brand consistency
• Develop creative solutions that are aligned with current design and industry trends
• Prepare artwork for both digital and print production

Software & Technical Expertise

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite particularly:
• InDesign catalogues brochures and layouts
• Illustrator vector artwork logos and packaging
• Photoshop image editing mock-ups and visual effects
• Experience with Figma Canva or similar collaboration/design tools would be advantageous
• Have a strong understanding of print production artwork preparation and packaging requirements

Brand Custodianship

• Ensure all creative output adheres to established brand guidelines
• Maintain consistency across multiple brands products and communication channels
• Contribute to the development and refinement of visual identities and creative standards
• Ensure a consistent professional and high-quality visual presence across all platforms

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years graphic design experience
• Previous experience in a Senior Graphic Designer Lead Designer or similar role would be advantageous
• Proven portfolio demonstrating strong experience in:
• Layout design
• Packaging design
• Campaign development
• Digital design
• Print and marketing collateral
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of typography layout colour and visual hierarchy
• Practical knowledge of print production and packaging
• Experience mentoring reviewing or guiding junior designers
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
