Electrical Technician

What You'll Do: - Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment throughout the plant to ensure optimal operational performance. - Manage high- and low-voltage systems with a focus on safety and efficiency. - Develop and implement control systems using advanced PLC knowledge with tools such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens S5, and S7. - Monitor instrumentation and automate processes to enhance manufacturing productivity. - Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise electrical systems and implement continuous improvements. - Strong electrical maintenance experience Requirements: - Electrician Trade - Red Seal or National Diploma (N6) in Electrical Engineering. - Proven experience of at least 6 years working with electrical equipment in a manufacturing or similar setting. - Extensive knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems. - Strong proficiency in PLC fault finding and troubleshooting. - Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
