About the Role

A leading manufacturing organization based in Kempton Park is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Production Inventory Controller to drive stock accuracy and streamline material workflows.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Lead, you will bridge critical operational gaps within the production environment—taking ownership of goods receiving, cycle counting, subcontractor tracking, and production material issuance through the company''s ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving & Compliance: Oversee incoming raw materials, consumables, and subcontracted items; verify documentation, quality, and quantities before capturing entries in the ERP system.
• Stock Accuracy & Control: Coordinate monthly cycle counts, investigate stock variances, and implement corrective actions to prevent material loss.
• Production Material Issuance: Develop best practices for picking, issuing, and reconciling raw materials and components against production orders.
• Subcontracting Management: Track the movement, receipt, return, and consumption of materials sent to external subcontractors.
• Process Improvement: Train production staff on proper ERP workflows, enforce inventory governance, and collaborate across Supply Chain, Finance, and Production to reduce operational waste.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in inventory control or production logistics within a manufacturing setting.
• Systems: Strong proficiency with ERP systems (experience with LN Info is highly advantageous).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of inventory control, Bill of Materials (BOMs), material flows, and stock reconciliation.
• Education: A Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the confidence to enforce operational rules collaboratively.
